Is this the Future of Boat systems?

Malö Yachts has recently completed construction of Nigel Calder´s Malö 46. This has a conventional engine installation and also an experimental paralell diesel-electric hybrid installation. Nigel will talk about the new technologies at 2 pm each day at this year´s Open Yard, on Friday,Saturday, Sunday. All are welcome to come. The talks will be held in the rigging shop at the Malö Marina in Kungsviken. read more

Standing navigation table or not?

Malö 46 Classic " KasteHelmi"
A new Malö 46 Classic with a Finnish flag at the stern is moored in Kungsviken. It looks like it is equipped for serious Blue water cruising judged by the amount of extras onboard. MALÖ:s TARGA-ARCH

Malö:s Targa-arch is unique and a characteristic trade mark. First designs were made out of wood in the late 1960:s, and we have been developed it since then. Take a look on the inside and see how strong we make them. See photos.

 

MALO 46 WITH DEEP DRAUGHT KEEL
Malo 46 is now also available with a deep draught keel which is 2,30 m. See photo. Advantages are better windward performance together with more sail area from the 1,5 m higher rig. In addition to the standard keel of 2,08 meter is also a shallow draught version = 1,80 m available.
